Creative Journaling4Faith and Family   3 Hour Workshop

Journaling4Faith workshop contents plus creative ways to pray for your kids, grandkids, friends and others.   Cost: $35.00 per person

Meet our Workshops Leaders


Deborah HaddixDeborah's photo

Deborah is a board certified advanced Christian life coach, speaker, and writer whose passion is to empower women to embrace God’s design for their life and their relationships. She has been journaling for her own Spiritual growth for many years and since becoming a grandmother has discovered several ways to incorporate this valuable discipline into that very special role. Deborah is the author of Praying with Purpose: Helping Equip Your Grandchildren to Stand Fast in the Faith. The book is a resource for grandparents and shares several creative journaling techniques.  Deborah and her husband Don live in Ohio.


Kathy Bornarthkathy small

Kathy is the founder and president of The National Association of Christian Journal Writers, Owner of Journaling4Faith and The Hope Counseling Center.

Since keeping her first journal as a teen, she’s experienced the fun as well as the benefits of recording her thoughts and feelings. As an adult, she’s come to recognize that journaling is more than an enjoyable past time, but offers spiritual and physical benefits as well.

Kathy is the author of The Friendship Guidebook and writes a weekly devotional on  She lives in North Carolina with her husband and their dog Elvis.

*Participants are encouraged to bring journals, crayons, markers and any other creative materials. The workshop leader provides outlines and art supplies to use during the class.
*Class minimum is 10. Travel expenses apply for workshops beyond 50 miles from leader’s office. Please contact us for more information or questions.
